A joint online newsstand of German publishers Bertelsmann Direct Group and DPV is said to start in summer 2010. The platform will be a channel for newspaper-, magazine- and book -content. The partners see the project as an offer to all German publishers that do not want to be dependent on the internet giant’s platforms like Apple or Amazon.
